Camping

To camp at New House Farm there are a number of things you will need to know.  If you have a question that isn't answered below please feel free to contact us and we will do our best to answer your question.

Pricing per night
Pitch - £5.00 
Adult - £5.00
16 and Under - £3.50
3 and Under - FREE
Additional vehicle(s) - £2.00 each

1 Pitch includes;
  • 1 tent (maximum size 8 man tent)
  • 1 vehicle

Each pitch can have a maximum of 4 adults or alternatively 2 adults plus children.

Please note that any group must include a responsible adult over the age of 21. ID may be required.
 
The best way to secure a pitch for camping is either phone or send a booking request. On arrival you will be required to fill out a details form.  To speed the process along you can download this form before arrival and fill it out at your own leisure.

You may like to know that there are portable toilets and refuse collection facilities in the camping field which are for the use of all campers. 

Important Rules & Regulations

To make sure that all who come to New House Farm have a pleasant stay there are a number of rules and requirements that we must ask that you abide to.  If you would like to save a copy of these please click here.

Please...
  • book in advance to avoid disappointment as we have a limited number of pitches
  • arrive between 2:00 & 9:00pm
  • make sure you report to the farmhouse on arrival before going onto the camp site & pitching your tent
  • where possible you are requested to approach the site from the A286 via the Charlton Road
  • place all rubbish in the designated areas provided
  • do not use any amplifiers or publicly audible sound systems 
  • respect other campers using the site and report any disruptive behaviour to the site manager asap
  • do not invite people onto site who are not camping at New House Farm
  • keep Dogs on leads at all times and please please please clear up after them!
  • either use toilets provided or empty your chemical toilet waste into the tank provided
  • do not use fireworks or Chinese lanterns
  • only use motor vehicles for accessing the site (maximum speed 15mph). Do not drive them around the site unnecessarily
  • keep campfires at least 8m from any wooded areas and to a reasonable size (no bigger than 1/2m diameter). Campfires are not permitted in very dry conditions but this will be made aware to you on arrival
  • do not throw bottles or cans onto campfires and make sure the fire is extinguished fully before departure
  • do not help yourself to wood from the surrounding forest. You can either bring your own or purchase it on arrival
  • do not bring a generator as they are not permitted
  • respect our neighbours in the village by driving carefully and also our campsite by leaving it as you would wish to find it
  • on day of departure, leave the site by 1:30pm (unless the site manager has informed you there is no camping on the following day, in which case departure must be by 9:00pm)

The campsite management reserve the right to remove anyone who they feel has breached any of the above rules at any time without refund.  We hope this is not needed but the enjoyment of all of our campers is of upmost importance to us.

Please note: All vehicles and possessions that are brought onto site are done so at the owners own risk.  New House Farm can accept no responsibility for any damage, loss or injury which may occur while on the premises. We are afraid that towed caravans are not allowed on site.
